  • Hamilton Turner Inn: The first residence in Savannah to be fully electric the house was built in 1873 and was fully electric by 1886.
  • Cathedral of St. John the Baptist: While the congregation of St. John dates back to the 1700s the building itself was completed in 1896 and is one of the most iconic Savannah landmarks and a must see both inside and out.
  • Mercer Williams House: Completed in 1860, this historic home was the backdrop for one of Savannah’s most captivating murder mysteries—an infamous event that inspired the bestselling book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and its film adaptation.
  • Colonial Park Cemetery: Savannah’s oldest intact cemetery, established in 1750, spans more than six acres and holds a rich, fascinating history—filled with countless stories.
  • Savannah Theatre: As one of the oldest continually operating theatres in the country, The Savannah Theatre’s inaugural production, The Soldier’s Daughter, premiered on December 4th, 1818.

  • Davenport House: The 1820 Davenport House became the catalyst for the founding of the Historic Savannah Foundation, an organization dedicated to preserving the rich history that both locals and visitors cherish today.
  • The Olde Pink House: One of Savannah’s most iconic haunted landmarks, The Olde Pink House earned its name from the red bricks beneath its white plaster exterior, over time, the red bled through, casting the house in a soft pink hue. You might just encounter the spirit of Mr. Habersham, the home’s original owner, while enjoying one of the city’s most celebrated dining experiences.
  • River Street: Where Savannah was founded in 1733 and once home to its original ports, this riverside stretch is now the city’s most iconic destination, lined with charming shops, inviting restaurants, and a steady parade of massive container ships.
